In Mats for All, we’re dedicated to giving each child a space to discover their strength, build focus, and enjoy the unique community jiu jitsu creates. Why Jiu Jitsu?
Jiu jitsu provides a unique blend of physical activity, structure, and mental focus that can be incredibly beneficial for kids on the autism spectrum. Through movement and guided practice, children build confidence, improve focus, and manage stress in a supportive, hands-on environment. What should my child wear to class?
All participants will need a gi (jiu jitsu uniform). If you don’t have one, we can assist you in finding the right size and style for your child.
Can parents stay during the class?
No, we encourage parents to allow our instructors to guide the children independently to foster confidence and focus.
