Formerly Juniko Fitness, our newly acquired Hanover location is located at 1376 Washington Street. This facility features a 1,000 sq’ mat, a fully equipped aerial yoga room, and a large viewing area. Additional amenities include private locker rooms, showers and bathrooms for our students as well as a juice bar soon to be reopening.

Our Hanover jiu jitsu program features world class instructors teaching the world renowned Gracie style of Brazilian jiu jitsu. Become a part of the growing Daniel Gracie Academy franchise, with more black belt instructors than any jiu jitsu academy in the region and the highest registration and retention rates of any martial arts gym on the South Shore. Membership in any of our gyms grants you access to any of our other locations: Plymouth, Hyannis and Orleans.

This location also offers Muay Thai and Boxing fitness classes that emphasize striking technique, cardio and overall fitness.

No matter your age or experience level, Daniel Gracie Academy of Hanover has something for everyone!

Hanover JIU-JITSU - Adults

Known as “The Gentle Art,” Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is widely considered the premiere self-defense method that delivers a full body and high cardio workout. It’s no wonder this authentic fitness regimen is our most popular program.

Classes are structured into warm-up, technique lesson, technique drilling and then live rolling.

Ages 14+

Hanover JIU-JITSU - Kids

We’ve applied the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu into a specially curated Kids jiu jitsu program that puts an emphasis on confidence, respect and discipline, while fostering the growth of character. Our smallest clients absorb this fun and friendly self-defense method, all while enjoying real-world physical fitness conditioning. Your child will develop coordination, motor skills, agility and flexibility. Kids Jiu Jitsu will set a foundation that your child will carry for a lifetime.

Ages 5-15

Hanover JIU JITSU - Little Warriors

Our Little Warrior’s program is designed to establish fundamental building blocks, not just for martial arts, but also in the daily lives of our students. Your child will develop the foundation to balance and control the body while also developing emotional and social skills and learning the importance of sharing and listening. These early life development practices will lay the path for your child to thrive and advance into our Kids BJJ Program.

Ages 4-7


Boxing Fitness with a ‘kick’ – The martial arts style of Muay Thai blends with other body weight and cardio-vascular exercises to improve strength, aerobic fitness, speed, flexibility, coordination and balance. A true full body knockout! Equipment is available, though you are encouraged to bring your own boxing gloves. All experience levels welcome.


Learn technique and the basic disciplines of boxing while getting a great cardio-building and muscle-toning workout. These classes generally run in 8 weeks blocks.
